Gleneagles
GLENEAGLES Natural Spring Water is named because its point of affluence is in the famous village of Gleneagles. The water is popular for several reasons: Its gorgeous modern styling looks great on any table and it has a pure, flavorless profile that many people seek. Gleneagles Natural Spring water is the result of heavy rainfall in the Gleneagles Valley. The rain engenders rainbows, which inspired the bottle design, called “Beneath The Rainbow” (there’s a full-color rainbow on every bottle). The real rainbows crown an area of great natural beauty, with picturesque, heather-covered hills. To protect the purity of the water, the water source in the Ochil Hills has been assiduously protected from human, agricultural and industrial pollution. The hills are around 400 million years old, made of layers of red sandstone and basalt. They provide a natural filter for the rainwater that falls to earth. Gleneagles is a young water: it takes that rain just 15 years to percolate through the rock strata into the deep caverns from which it is pumped. With 235mg/liter of Total Dissolved Solids, it is on the borderline of spring water and mineral water. It’s stil on the spring water side, in that there isn’t enough TDS to taste salts or minerals in the water. It’s what many people look for: a “pure” water flavor.
