WaterGlam own acquisition

Garoé

GAROÉ fog water is obtained directly from the clouds at 1,450 meters altitude in the peaks of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, one of the clearest skies in the world, where the clouds formed on the ocean collide with the orography of the island and taking advantage of a natural phenomenon known as "horizontal rain". When obtained in this original way, Garoé is a water of very weak mineralization, balanced and unique due to its low bicarbonate content, since it has not touched the ground. After 15 years of research, Agualternativa Ingeniería S.L. created the NRP 3.0-4.0 fog water collectors, which obtain this high quality water drop by drop in an innovative and sustainable way. They are passive systems of water collection consisting of meshes that retain the droplets that float in the air. They are installed within the Protected Area of La Corona Forestal, a pine forest that surrounds the volcano of El Teide on the Canary Island of Tenerife. A very light, refreshing and neutral water, which highlights the flavors of foods, wines and liquors that accompany it. Because our Garoé fog water is obtained without the captured water reaching the ground, it has a unique composition in the world. The clouds generated by the evaporation of the ocean drag salts although in very small amount.
